My sweet valentines

Our little family had a wonderful, relaxing valentines day. We got dressed up and just stayed home and ate a rather tasty homemade dinner. I love holidays like that, just relaxing and no stress. They make for sweet memories down the road. My love gave me the sweetest, most delicate bracelet and a bouquet of daisies, he knows my heart!

We have a 2 month old!

My sweet little Charlie, you're growing so quickly! You're learning new things, like talking and how to smile. I can't wait till you start giggling! You are so different then you were just a week ago. you would cry for hours and nothing seemed to calm you down. Your dad prayed over you one night and sweet boy, you've never been happier! God really blessed us! You are a calm, easy baby now. You're sleeping a little better, giving me at least a four hour stretch (which is AMAZING!) and then a few 2 hours after that. You and your brother take long 4 hour naps at the same time, after 2 months of having no "me" time, it's kinda crazy and I actually don't know what to do with it. Though I'm blessed! :) You're loved sweet Charlie! Oh, you rolled over yesterday! That was crazy!

My boys!

Boys! I am so happy I have 2 of them! I'm looking forward to them growing up together. Having them play cars and make boy noises. Getting dirty and working on cars with their dad. To climbing trees and playing tag. Boys are a blessing and have such fun imaginations. In the photo Finny was "booming" cars :)

Little Mister all grown up!

I truly can't believe how time flies! I have a two year old and an almost two month old. Life goes so quickly. I'm trying to savor each moment with my boys...even the hard, tiring days, I know one day I will miss them. I'll miss the sleepless nights, the cries in the night, the sweet hugs from a messy two year old. I'll miss finding cars "parked" all over the house. I'll miss washing loads and loads of laundry and folding tiny little clothes. I'll miss these days. I treasure these days. My boys are growing up more and more each day. Finny could talk all day...and he remembers things, things that happened weeks ago. He remembers worship songs and what he did in his class at church. He remembers what his chores are after dinner and that he has to put his toys away before watching Mater. He has memorized his favorite bedtime stories and from his little seat in the back of the car, he knows when we're getting close to Poppie and Mimi's house. Every day he grabs my hand and says "Let's pray for Char-dee!" This kid makes me laugh... I showed him his new jammie's from Mimi the other day and he said "Those so cute, those cute jammie's!" I'm blessed he's mine...that his heart is so sweet. He's growing up and so fast! He got his first haircut today and he looks like a little gentleman!
